Job Summary
The Accountant Analyst for Grover Corporation will be in charge of overseeing financial activities involved in payroll, inventory accounts, cash flow forecast, performance reports, year-end preparations, as well as analysis of labor, variance and profitability of projects.
Primary Responsibilities
- Reconcile and close month-end and reconcile inventory accounts
- Participate in year-end preparation
- Conduct variance analysis and profitability analysis of jobs
- Prepare cash flow forecast, budget performance reports and labor analysis
- Oversee payroll processing
- Back up Controller and assist Accounts Receivable and Payable
Minimum Requirements
- A Bachelor’s degree in accounting
- 1-3 years successful accounting experience (particular field related experience not necessary)
- Cost accounting experience is helpful
- Collaborative team player with strong skills in multitasking and meeting deadlines
